A Christmas Tale, subtitled Roubaix!, is a French film by Arnaud Desplechin released in 2008. Filmed in Roubaix, it was presented in official competition at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.

The Vuillard family was marked by the death of their first child, Joseph, who suffered from a genetic illness. Years later, each followed their own path: Elizabeth became a writer in Paris, Henri got involved in dubious affairs, and Ivan led a fragile family life. After a conflict whose reasons remain unclear, Elizabeth banished Henri from the family, which then became deeply divided, despite the efforts of their cousin Simon to maintain a bond between everyone.
