DVD Kings and Queen (Spanish)

Kings and Queen is a French film by Arnaud Desplechin released in 2004. This dramatic comedy, in the form of a diptych, tells the stories of two complex characters, Nora and Ismaël, played by Emmanuelle Devos and Mathieu Amalric. The film addresses themes such as relationships, mourning, and family ties, drawing on numerous cinematic, literary, and psychoanalytic references.

Presented at the Venice Film Festival in 2004, it received several important awards, including the Louis-Delluc Prize for best film and the César for best actor for Mathieu Amalric. With over 700,000 admissions in Europe, it is among the director's greatest successes and is part of an informal trilogy with Léo, playing "In the Company of Men" (2003) and A Christmas Tale (2008).
