A young director, unlucky in love, is offered the chance to stage Charles Perrault's Snow White at the Comédie-Française. An indistinct mix of five fragmented dreams, this film attempts to connect, through the use of cinema, two major events that have just occurred in Garrel's life: his separation from Nico, his companion and muse of the 70s, and the birth of Louis, his son. This film is dedicated to Jean Eustache.
